Crane Lifting Operations - Teagle Openings and Similar Doorways
A teagle opening is an opening in the side of a building, usually above ground level through which goods and materials are raised, lowered or suspended.
When not in use, the opening must be securely fenced in at all times. When the fencing is removed for use, the opening must be provided with a secure hand hold on each side.
